CLAIRE DANES: MY SO-CALLED IMAGINARY LIFE!

ME, MYSELF AND MY IMAGINARY FRIENDS is what makes up the life of Claire Danes. At the tender age of 6, the 28 year-old actress, started therapy when she told her parents that she was scared of her imaginary friends. ...SAY WHAT? Now why would anyone be scared of his or her imaginary friends? They mean you no harm. They only want to love you.

Claire said, "I was getting to be a bit of a neurotic mess, so my parents thought therapy might do me good. But ultimately I became more scared of my therapists than I was of these imaginary creatures."

Oddly enough, Claire attended YALE and studied PSYCHOLOGY, but still attends weekly therapy sessions which she says have helped her be a better actress.

They may have helped her be a better actress but Claire recently said she will only act when the weather is "just right." ...Hum, I think her "imaginary friends" are having some fun with her mind cause that just sounds... well crazy!

She also says, "Occasionally I get it right as an actress and feel proud of what I’ve done. But the conditions have to be just right. I have to be working with a director who is really capable and attentive. The weather has to be just so and the other actors have to be great. Then, for some reason, it works and I feel wonderful. But then something changes and I go back to square one again."

Stable weather conditions, attentive directors, imaginary friends... I'm not saying she's crazy; let's just say she might be delusional.

But when you see her naked in bed in SHOPGIRL, well come on, who really cares about her imaginary friends! Besides, they're probably the ones who told her to do the nude scene in the first place!
