Diablo Cody regrets saying yes to Stuart Weitzman...too late, shut the hell up!!

Diablo Cody who penned this year's indie hit, "Juno" is enormously blessed as thousands and thousands of writers rarely have their screenplays hit the light of day and have a deal to write and possibly produce more of their work. Yeah, she did some time as a stripper, which is neither good nor bad, but it was a "personal choice" based on research, so she says. Diablo accepted the offer to wear these shoes by Stuart Weitzman based on the fact that every year an "up and coming woman" gets to wear them, but on her Myspace page she voiced other opinions: Cody wrote on her Myspace blog: "I'm actually really pissed about this, now that I think about it. They're using me to publicize their stupid shoes and nobody asked me. I would never consent to a lame publicity stunt at a time when I already want to hide. I'm sorry if I sound like a party-pooper, but Jeebus." What? Unless you gave full autonomy to your agent/management/PR group, which would make you an out and out IDIOT, You accepted the offer, not them, so spare me your bullshit, "I'm staying true to who I am, I'm not a tool of the Man foolishness!" So now instead of making your writing dreams come true, would you rather return to the Pole and shake your ass for the cash? I didn't think so, so don't come off as some ungrateful dumbass, wear the shoes, and hopefully win another award during the Oscars, which you do deserve.

She didnt have any problem letting everyone know that she was wearing Dior. So much for sticking it to the man. This girl is either incredibly naive or incredibly stupid.

Sometimes it's just better not to say anything and just be grateful for your blessings. Clearly she is going to have to learn this and this is why you NEED to have trustworthy people to guide you. All people that have aspirations for the entertainment industry are usually overwhelemed and unprepared for the public relations aspect of achieving their goals. So JM I think you are spot on on both points, naive and stupid. Hey, but maybe I am just a jaded old coot! Thanks for commenting.
