Kimora Lee not interested in joint custody...Hmm are we a little controlling??

As a child of divorce I can attest to how damaging a divorce can be to a child, especially if both parents don't make the child(ren) the primary focus. According to TMZ, Kimora Lee, the ex-wife of Def Jam/Phat Farm founder, Russell Simmons, is not interested in sharing custody of their daughters, Ming and Aoki. I understand that she filed for divorce in March and I don't believe their to be any truly bad blood between them, and with her soon to give birth to Djimon Honsou's child, why not share? I know that she was not in favor of Russell's new girlfriend, so what, move on with you Fabulous life! The only time a child(ren) should be kept from their parent is based on some sort of compromising/self-destructive behavior, and if Russell were exhibiting this kind of behavior, then Kimora would be justified. This just might end up becomming messy if Kimora chooses. For the girls, I sincerely hope not.

Britney is making great strides...this could be a great summer for her!!

Because of today's meeting with Commish Gordon, Britney will now get three days of supervised visitation per week as her behavior has improved tremendously. According to TMZ, if all goes well, by the middle to the end of summer, she should be able to resume 50/50 custody, but with all things Britney, we shall see.

As Britney Spears sits in a room with her lawyers and parents to meet with Commissioner Gordon as to her getting back some parental rights, I am very pleased to see her acting like a mature adult. It is clear that if Britney takes her meds and has positive influences in her life, she can be of benefit to herself, her children, and others around her. No Sam Lufti's, Alli Sims, or Adnan Ghalib needed. Kevin Federline, from the very beginning, wanted her to do what's right for their boys and stop exploiting them, myself along with many others, never thought that he would be the voice of reason! Well, coming off her second episode of CBS' HIMYM and three more slated, it is definitely a move in the correct direction and maybe she can be on her own within the next six months, but that should not be rushed.

Mariah and Nick Cannon, could be real....yeah, just like his acting career!!!

Ok, I can forgive her marrying Tommy Mottola because she was sooo young, and he was a controlling bastard, but let us not forget about her fake marriage to Luis Miguel. This whole rush to marry in the Bahamas thing smells of an arrangement, because there is no way that these two would keep this a secret for sooo long, Mariah is crazy over Nick, whatever, she is just plain crazy. Also, Mariah has a ton of coin, not that Nick is living some sort of section eight lifestyle, but even with his clothing line and his show that was on MTV, he don't have Mariah money! So, no prenup....really....really??? Now you know, her lawyers could convince a judge that she is a 5150, just to protect her assets, it ain't that much of a stretch. I don't have any dislike for Nick Cannon, besides his acting and him being corny, and I am corny as heck and he annoys me! Stay tuned for this Cafe Ole Tom and Katie Cruise foolishness, there could be a turkey baster involved as well.

Gary Dourdan is a major tool and I am being nice!!

In his first major role as an opinionated anti-establishment student named Shaka, on the NBC show, "A Different World," Gary Dourdan gained attention. Fast Forward to Monday morning as the CSI star was busted for possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and prescription drugs in Palm Springs, according to TMZ. He was found sleeping in his vehicle and was taken to jail and later posted a 5k bail, way to go, you arrogant ass! Clearly, what comes around goes around as he laid hands many years ago on his ex-wife, model, Roshumba, and the CBS network will be glad to see him leave/get killed off CSI. Stay tuned for his downward spiral.

Eli "Aw shucks paw" Manning now has new ownership!!

Congrats to the Manning family as Eli Manning, quarterback of the NFL champs, the New York Giants, tied the knot on Saturday with his longtime college sweetheart, Abby McGrew, in Los Cabos, Mexico. Abby is definitely going to be "wearing the pants" in this marriage, but there is just one thing that could be a problem. Getting married on the beach in Mexico or other destinations outside of the U.S. can become a benefit if a divorce were to ever happen. If Abbey, Eli, or both have money, the other one may not be entitled to half of the other's assets, but I don't want to go down that path, but instead, I choose to be the optomist. Abbey actually looks like she would straight knock out a groupie for trying to jump on her husband. Good luck you two.

Cameron Diaz's tragic loss!!

Emilio Diaz of Seal Beach, Ca, the father of actress, Cameron Diaz, passed away suddenly this morning as a recent flu steamrolled into walking pnemonia. A distraught Cameron, left the set of her film "My Sister's Keeper" according to TMZ, and the production has shut down until she returns. The unfortunate lesson from this is to not take an illness for granted, because the end result may have grave consequences. Most often it is us men that don't do doctor visits or just trudge through illness without a second thought as we have to continue working or finish some kind of task. Our sincere condolences to the Diaz family and all those who knew Emilio.
