Suns coach Mike D'Antoni is possibly leaving the team!!

According to SI, Mike D'Antoni will be leaving the Phoenix Suns for either the Chicago Bulls or the New York Knicks, and although I am a Knick fan, Chicago has more pieces in place to make his time more productive. All the coach of any team can ever do is to prepare his team the best way possible, working the game plan is entirely on the shoulders of all the players, and the Suns let D'Antoni down, not vice versa. At this point, he should move on to another team and perhaps he will have the playoff success that has eluded him for some time, good luck Mike. Read

Roger Clemens has some splainin' to do...just ask Mindy McCready, jailbird!!

Poor Roger Clemens, first Brian McNamee, his personal trainer accuses him of using steriods, now troubled singer, Mindy McCready is leveling claims that she had a ten year relationship with the pitcher from the ages of 15-25. If proven true, he could be known has a pedophile, beside totally violating his marriage vows, and then having his credibility blown to hell. Of course Clemens and his lawyer vehemently denies any wrongdoing and is beginning to paint her as a lying opportunist, surprise. I can tell you who is enjoying this, a man named Barry Bonds. Shaun Alexander is shown the door in Seattle...shows great class and maturity!!

Love him or hate him, Shaun Alexander has faithfully given his talents to the Seattle Seahawks for the past eight years.  But after a near 2000 yard season in 2005 and making the Pro bowl, he was awarded a 8 year 62 million dollar contract with 15 million guaranteed, but nearing the 30 mark, made the contract risky.  I remember watching Shaun at the University of Alabama, and he was quite the stud running back and later on, his teammate, Dennis Riddle was equally dominant.  However, for the past two years, Shaun has been hampered by injuries that have drastically cut into his performance and with the recent acquistions of Duckett from Atlanta and Jones from Dallas, it became clear that Shaun was on the way out.  As he was released today he thanked the owners of the Seahawks and the fans, exhibiting the respect that he always maintained for the game, and I also believe that he will end up somewhere and will be a factor in that  team's success.  The NFL, has always been known as the Not for Long league, so production is a must.   Read

Eli "Aw shucks paw" Manning now has new ownership!!

Congrats to the Manning family as Eli Manning, quarterback of the NFL champs, the New York Giants, tied the knot on Saturday with his longtime college sweetheart, Abby McGrew, in Los Cabos, Mexico. Abby is definitely going to be "wearing the pants" in this marriage, but there is just one thing that could be a problem. Getting married on the beach in Mexico or other destinations outside of the U.S. can become a benefit if a divorce were to ever happen. If Abbey, Eli, or both have money, the other one may not be entitled to half of the other's assets, but I don't want to go down that path, but instead, I choose to be the optomist. Abbey actually looks like she would straight knock out a groupie for trying to jump on her husband. Good luck you two.

Tiger Woods is human...but he is still better than the rest!!!

Tiger Woods just had arthroscopic sugery to repair torn cartilege in his knee and he will be on the shelf until the U.S. Open on June 12. He is the type of athlete to endure the pain as long as possible, but even his swing coach, Hank Haney can attest to Tiger's pain. Peyton and Eli hanging out on a Saturday night!!

To see Peyton Manning and Eli Manning hanging out a celebspot, Villa, in Los Angeles, must have been a WTH moment for most patrons. Don't get me wrong, I love their ESPN family commercial, and I am pretty sure those Manning boys are a riot, but picking up girls and leaving with them, hmmm! Eli is a bachelor, but isn't Peyton married? Maybe he is just being the ultimate wingman and taking one "for the team" as his brother looks to score. It's not so hard to believe, is it? We all know that Peyton is the shining star of the NFL and he could never never never, wink wink, do anything wrong. How dare I even think it!

Chris Henry finally gets the boot...Good for the Bengals brass!!

As an former collegiate footbal player, I could do a 15 part series on the life of a football player, from G-XXX rated! I played with a few guys that made it to the league, and I knew a slew of talented guys that didn't and I can tell you first hand that as hard as it is to make it, it is even more difficult to stay in the league. The more spots you can fill or are willing to do, the longer your tenure will be, but that being said for every STUPID STUPID UNGRATEFUL ASSCLOWN that pisses away his chance, there are a roomful of guys who don't! Chris Henry is a dumbass through and through! His race should not be an issue in this as there are also white guys in the NFL that have done foolish and irresponsible things as well. For as much of a bad guy Pacman Jones is depicted as, someone like Chris Henry should be banned from the NFL for the next three to five years, a precedent must be set! Beating up your wife/girlfriend or anyone for reasons other than self-defense should be a mandatory one year sentence effective immediately. There are tooooo many guys bustiing their ass to make a roster spot every year and I personally am calling Roger Goodell on the "carpet" to really clean up this league and hold everyone accountable to the full measure of policy and procedure of the NFL and the law. Chris Henry is a 24 year-old piece of trash that got what he deserved. I could go on, but I think I have said enough, for now.

Arizona Cardinals coach, Ken Whisenhunt is critical of Matt Leinart antics!!

Generally, I believe that young people should be enjoying their youth, but under THESE circumstances, I agree with the coach. Matt is an adult, but he is no longer in school, so being a part of spring break is a bit silly. He wants to be the "Man" at quarterback in Arizona, and what he doesn't understand is that it isn't just about performing on the field, but how you conduct yourself off the field as well. Did the Arizona Cardinals have a winnning record last year? Wasn't Leinart moaning about taking over the team? Didn't Kurt Warner end up starting most of the year? Ask Ryan Leaf, Blair Thomas, Kijana Carter, or Rashan Saalam about the expectancy of an NFL player. No one says he can't go out and enjoy himself, but if he spent more time really getting to know his son, working on his speed, strength, quickness, and humility, he just might have a career and a genuine life during and after football. The thing that I love most about the NFL is that regardless of race, and an idiot will always be exposed! Get your ass in gear Leinart!
