NFL Season Off to a Strong Start for Colts
The 2007 Season of the NFL was kicked off last night with the defending champion Indianapolis Colts hosting the New Orleans Saints. The game started off strong with both teams going into the locker room at halftime tied at 10-10. After the half the Saints never showed up and it was once again a Peyton Manning free for all. Being a die hard RAM FAN and not really a Colts fan, I was rooting for the Saints the entire time. In my gut I felt the Colts would win, but it didn't stop me from rooting for Bush and Brees to do something to get the ball back and score some points. However, it just wasn't meant to be. The final score was 41-10 and once again Peyton Manning was named the player of the game!
Even though I don't follow either team religiously . . . I was elated to see my favorite sport back in town. I feel whole and complete and look forward to the next several sundays of screaming at the TV till my throat hurts and talking trash to my friends and fellow football fans.
So crack open a beer, order some pizza and/or light up the grill, order your NFL ticket and get set ......
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL??? I sure as hell am!! WOOHOO!!
