Yeah, yeah I know, I said I'm sick of this story but, I began to think about it over the weekend.
Sprint had this picture captioned as the 800w on the roadmap. When we first brought you this image we presented it just as we received it. But what if that's all wrong? What if this is simply the only photo Palm had to shell out to go along with announcement of a pending 800w for the the roadmap? Or better yet, what if the 800w is the phone that will be released? I find it hard to believe that Palm would give away free 800w's, but if it's not the 800w (treo) that Palm fans are waiting for, and is a scaled down version of a hefty WM Treo, this could be more in line of what to expect on the 12th.
The whole (it's not the Centro) thing tripped us all up, point to Palm on that one. But it stands to reason that there must be a device that we are not really aware of or totally misinterpreted. I say this because if you think about it, Palm stands to look pretty foolish after posting a disclaimer, after posting an ad for a mysterious new device. Those White Vodaphone photos have made there way around the globe. If you're a Palm fan with an internet connection you've seen them. What's the big secret? So they would look pretty silly releasing a secret that everyone already knows. Right?
This reasoning however unreasonable it may be, lead me to ponder this photo. Okay, that's it, I'm done until they release it on the 12th.
