International and domestic cooperation in steriod busts!!

The DEA along with authorities from Mexico, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and China dealt a massive blow to underground/illegal labs that create steriods and HGH. The raw steriod powder made it's way to these different countries, as well as the U.S., from China; China, showing it's committment to this Operation only bolsters their image as they have been embroiled in the lead ladened toy scandal. With the 2008 Olympics on the horizon, it behooves them to present themselves positively on the world stage so that there can be cooperation among these and other countries in regards to information sharing for security issues. With a tremendous amount of exposure coming from athletes cheating in sports and the steriod-related deaths of athletes such as wrestler Chris Benoit, the heat is on for all persons involved in this lucrative albeit illegal business. I will definitely go on record saying that what makes steriods dangerous, are abuse and utilization for means other than for what they were intended. Steriods were not originally created to make individuals lift more or run faster, but that happens to be a by product of the original intention. Education is key to understanding this topic, it isn't as black and white as officials and law enforcement would have you believe. Read
