Is HTC Looking To Enter The Linux Game?
HTC has blown up as of late. Their wave of new smart devies stand out among the crowd in terms of design. But sadly for me they all run WM. I have seen of few HTC models that have made me look twice, but as you know I have no interest in using that OS platform.
But what if HTC were to adopt a Linux based OS? Uh, Palm would would most definitely have a problem, and Apple would have to pay close attention as well. I can tell that this Palm, Apple fan would find myself in a store fondling the likes of an HTC form factor.
Well if this rumor holds up, I might be in a store somewhere in a hoodie, dark glasses and nervious. Engadget has the deets on HTC's possible foray into the Linux universe. ---Peter Chao, CEO of HTC, "HTC is still paying close attention to the latest developments in Linux technology."---
Sure would be nice to see another platform running on those beautiful devices.

Well, if it's true, then, it will spell the end of Palm Inc as we all suspected and know it. Strange turn of events, how Palm couldn't get themselves out of the hole they've dug for themselves, and HTC has established themselves as a major player.

HTC is making some seriously good devices. If they start making them for those that don't want to use WM, it's not just Palm that will be in trouble, RIM, Apple and Motorola will have a major fight on their hands.
