Zune 2 To The Rescue...Tomorrow!
Just when I thought all was lost, there was nothing left to buy, look!! Up in the sky, It's a bird no it's insane, it's ZUNE 2!!!
The Zune 2 (disguised as something somebody cares about) fights a never ending battle for the youth, sales, and the iPod to go away! But seriously, Redmond will be hoping with Zune love tomorrow according to Betanews ---According to sources close to the situation, both Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and Design and Development chief J Allard will be on hand for the event. The main part of the announcement will center around the players, which will include the first flash memory based Zunes.---
Honestly folks, if you've had the chance to play with the iPod Touch then you know it doesn't matter how big your coming out party, or your brand name, nothing comes close to it. But there are those who want the Zune on principle alone, those that claim Apple as their arch nemesis, when really it's the Zunes Kryptonite.
Okay, going out on a limb here, but Microsoft usually doesn't do anything small. The fact this isn't a well known event (unless folks are under an embargo) makes me wonder about this. I could be wrong, but I wouldh've thought more people would know about this.
As much as the Zune is struggling, I don't see the point in keeping a major unvieling so secret.
Could be wrong, though. But even for the new Live Search unvieling last week, it was a bigger deal. I would expect the Zune 2.0 to be just as big a deal (if not more) and not solely reported by one site.
I'm a little suspect of this one.
