Bill Gates Wants To Be Seen In Green

For those who didn't get it, the title is a reference from a song in the movie "The Wiz". Everyone with money to burn is over in the beautiful land of Switzerland talking up ways to be lean and green at the World Economic Forum.

Bill Gates, the one time Leader Of The Pack, has pledged $306 million from he and wife Melinda's Bill & Melinda Foundation to help poor farmers around the world.

"If we are serious about ending extreme hunger and poverty around the world, we must be serious about transforming agriculture for small farmers, most of whom are women...The challenge here is to design a system including profit and recognition to do more for the poor."

One more step in the direction of keeping cloned food off dinner tables. Nicely done Bill!
