This is on one hand pretty cool news, but on the other a bit yawn inducing as well. If you subscribe to HBO you will soon be able to download and watch HBO content on your home PC. "HBO on Broadband" will offer you "RV" Idilwyld" and "Aeon Flux", the only movies that ever seem to be on HBO, live and in real time on your PC. Okay, there are other movies on the channel but damn they seem to play the same five stupid movies every single day. And as far as their shows, nobody is trying to watch "The Wire".
Personal feelings aside, there are two caveats. You have to be a Time Warner RoadRunner subscribers. And you must have a Windows based computer. That's real smart guys, in this day and age you're ignoring the fastest growing OS base, Apple.
But whatever, unless you live in Wisconsin you can't use the service anyway. This will give you Packers fans something to do for the next two weeks and on one particular SUNDAY. Ouch
