At last, the Writer's strike is over, so said Former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner.
"It's over. They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general." "A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner said, adding, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."
So what's this mean: people go back to work, no more lame reruns, and a re-airing of the Golden Globes of how it should of really went down!

Not so fast... all the TV networks have already committed to an interim of crappy reruns and reality shows, plus the returning writers will have to begin writing new scripts (or at least finish the ones they started). The strike may be over, but it will still be a while before the lousy TV shows end, and when it comes down to it-- will they really end? Probably not.
Still, I'm glad the [good] writers are going back to work... the lousy writers, meh, not so much.

Of course it won't be immediate, but at least the process of reintegrating everyone can begin. I could care less about watching the crappy shows on TV. I'm just pumped for the writers that they can go back to work.
