Verizon's new model should be "We're always working to one up Sprint". In a stunning move even if it is a rumor at the time of this post, Verizon has drop it's high priced unlimited "Data" plan that takes you to the same Web as everyone else, all the way down to $29.99.
Even though that is without a doubt a great price for Verizon, it still doesn't beat Sprints simply everything plan.
Check my post breaking down carrier Unlimited Plans.
But whatever the case, if this holds up as fact, this will be a great thing for Verizon customers come April 14th (today). Although I find it funny that Verizon still quantifies it as "email and Web".

It doesn't even beat Sprints PCS Vision Unlimited Data plans that are $15 and $25, depending on type of service. Still, it's nice to see Verizon making an effort to be cheaper.
