EA Sports Madden 09 Will No Longer Play With PC

  Oh a sad day, sad day indeed for those PC gamers who speed their work hours or subway time playing Madden.

  Come 2009, not only will the Player who gets pictured on the cover break something in regular season, But PC owners wont be able to play him while the real player has been sidelined.

  Madden has been included in the PC version since NFL 96, this marks the end of a era. 

Electronics Arts no longer sees PC gaming as a viable commodity, or so it would seem. 

But fret not, you can still play our Madden 09 when it becomes available on all of the other gaming platforms.

Gary Gygax of Dungeons and Dragons fame passes!!

Gary Gygax, the co-founder of Dungeons and Dragons passed away at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin at the age of 69 this morning. He had been ailing from health issues for several years, but to his six children and millions of fans, his legacy of love and creativity has touched and transformed their lives. Gygax and his partner, Dave Arneson developed the game in 1974 and even up to this past January, he would still host weekly games at his home. Warcraft Hero Guitar or VivendiVision

This is either a blow to competition or a boon to gamers everywhere. Vivendi SA has it's bank vault set on Activision. The company plans to buy up Activision and go toe to toe with Electronic Arts Inc.

The Wii Light Saber: Star Wars Fanboys Give Thanks

The first Ghostbusters goes down in my book as one of the all time greats. Ghostbusters 2 goes down as, well...So the first one was great huh? Well if you like that and you like video games this is like a Resees' Peanut butter cup, because two of your favorite things are coming together.

Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis and Bill Murray are getting together to unleash a Ghostbusters game onto the masses. This according to gameinformer.com --- Both Aykroyd and Ramis are teaming up for scriptwriting duties and are going far beyond just the typical licensed add-your-voice-to-the-game-you-had-nothing-to-do-with formula. And no, this has nothing to do with the Ghostbusters Zootfly video demonstration that floated around the internet in January.---
