Whatever your personal opinion of Michael Moore is, I would hope that it could be agreed that this man wants to effect positve change. I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice. I can tell you that both times he was exactly the way he is everytime you see him on the screen. But I'm sure you knew that already.
I have the feeling that Sicko will be the catalist for real change in our health care system. America could quite possibly see it's government go into action over something we all desperately need.
Michael Moore has posted a video on Youtube, asking you to make your own video of your health care nightmare experience. He is looking to take the videos to congress. This is a very cool idea! have a look, and if you have a story, post it.
Michael Moore is a moron and a hack. It cannot be agreed that he is out to effect a positive change.
I would hardly call a meeting with him a pleasure. I hope to never meet the man, nor come within 100 miles of him.

Yes, I do agree that Michael Moore has done a lot to influence and change a lot of things and how people are viewing what's happening around him. I can give him that.
I don't however appreciate how he has manipulated facts, statistics and everything else in his political essay which he likes to present as a documentary (in no way could it ever be a truthful documentary in my view). I've only watched Bowling for Columbine and didn't appreciate how a lot of footages he took were not accurate and likely staged, although it seems like it wasn't.
I do think it's nice that he is around to shake things up, but in my opinion, I take him and his personal agenda with a grain of salt, like I do with most things in life.
