Save this girl...and others like her

Authorities in Nevada are desperately trying to identify and rescue a young girl seen in a child pornography video allegedly found in the Nevada desert. They are going to the unusal lengths of releasing still fotos from the video hoping someone can identify her or another girl seen in the video. In the tape a man is performing sex acts on the girl, between 5-6 years old, while an older girl, aged about 10-12, is shown in "some kind of peep show".  The video was allegedly found in the desert by a 26-year old Pahrup, NV, man named  Darren Tuck who claims to have found the video months ago in the desert. However, he did not surrender it to police until another man saw it. Tuck's story notwithstanding, the tape showed no sign of weather wear from its time in the desert. "The easiest way to explain it is if you can imagine the absolute worst things that can happen to a little girl at the hands of an adult male, that has happened and beyond," said Nye County sheriff's detective David Boruchowitz of the video. "It is by far the most heinous and horrible thing that you can possibly imagine on there." Authorities took the unusual step of releasing the stills of the clothed girl because they fear her life is in danger. As regular readers of this blog have noted several writers have commented on their belief that child molesters cannot be rehabilitated and a new more severe approach needs to be taken. What is alarming is with the frequency of incidents like this one increasing with the increased sexualization of children, not many people seem upset enough to do something about it.
