Georgia Frontiere as noted in the title is the last and only female owner of an NFL team, the St. Louis Rams, and she came to ownership after her husband Carroll died in a swimming accident that was rumored to actually be a hot tub mishap. Although her health had been in decline, her love and admiration for her team and the people of St. Louis has never changed. She passed away at UCLA Medical in Los Angeles, Ca, our condolences, to her family, friends, and team.
