The writers strike should be over before Valentine's day...who will be the first to send roses?!

The WGA, AMPTP, and other interested parties are at the negotiating table today. With the success of the recent DGA contract, which at least is promising and it's in the ballpark of what the writers want to achieve, all of the foolish bravado on both sides have been exposed and very soon, if not now, advertisers will be "smacking fire" out of the asses of AMPTP and Studios. No romance without the finance!! But seriously, this strike has been like a very terrible divorce between two headstrong parents with the children suffering the most. The negotiations can be on-going for up to a year, but in the interim there can still be a total agreement on preliminary figures for internet and DVD amounts, it's not rocket science!!
