As the title reads, the strike is nearly over according to former Walt Disney Co head honcho, Michael Eisner, and as I reported last week, this had to happen or else all of the major studios would've financially imploded, despite their bravado. The details of the contract must be approved in principal by a majority vote by all WGA members, and I am sure that this will happen. Keep in mind that although the strike will end, pilots have been lost, existing contracts may become invalid, and there will not be an overnight change, things should start returning to somewhat normal within two months. But this is still great news as many will be directly and indirectly affected. Read
