The three month strike by the Writers Guild of America has effectively come to an end. Writers were briefed on the terms of the tentative agreement the guild leaders forged with the AMPTP on Saturday and showed support for the deal. Showrunners with producing responsibilities will return to work on Monday with other writers returning on Wednesday. A 48-hour vote deadline was approved by the leadership Sunday and the membership is expected to ratify the agreement.
