Police have named O.J. (the glove didn’t fit) Simpson a suspect in a break-in.
Late last night a hotel room break-in was reported at the Palace Station casino and involved sports memorabilia.
"When they talked to him, Simpson made the comment that he believed the memorabilia was his," said a police spokesman. "We're getting conflicting stories from the two sides."
After being acquitted of murder charges, related to his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman, Simpson was found liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit.
To help pay off the $33.5 million judgment awarded to the Goldman family, he was forced to sell off his sports memorabilia, including his Heisman Trophy, and apparently he wants it back now, but doesn’t want to pay the price.
I still can’t believe he was arrogant enough to write and try and publish a book under the title, "If I Did It." Supposedly a play by play outline of how he would have killed his ex-wife, and her friend IF he’d been the killer. Sick! Does he have no respect for his children, no, he’s all about the money.
Thank goddness that the Goldman family brought the rights to it when Simpson’s publishing deal fell through. They aptly retitled it: "If I Did It: The Confessions of a Killer."
Bitter sweet win for them I’m sure….
