You probably think this image is fake and that it is some sick creation of Photoshop or some other art program, but it is not.
This is baby Lali, who was born with two faces, a condition known as craniofacial duplication. She was recently born in Saini, a town 25 miles from New Delhi.
There was an article put out in USA Today about the birth of Lali. It read:
"A baby with two faces — two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes — was born in a northern Indian village, where she is doing well and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess. Hundreds of pilgrims have visited Lali, the 1-month-old baby, and her impoverished parents to touch her feet out of respect and receive blessings."
It's amazing that there are people in this world that find a tragic thing such as the birth of Lali a blessing or a sign and nothing but. I'm just curious what will become of Lali. Will she remain in the state she is in or will western doctors make their way to her and try to surgically give her what we consider a normal face?
